Zé Ricardo was challenged by the Dream Factory president, Duda Magalhães,
to bring music into the “Rio de Janeiro’s Marathon with Art”.
The music arrived at the Marathon with an exclusive concept.
That concept was created especially for the event. Music became the
"heart" of the MARATHON. Renowned DJs, singers and instrumentalists
met in unique concerts, where all the songs were in the 120bpm.
The musical style was not the focus. The beat was, as it was always
the same. The pace of the race did not drop as the music helped runners
to keep their own pace and rhythm. It amused and surprised everyone.
LEVE carried out all art production of the event, delighting the runners
and the public that went to the streets to watch the MARATHON in 2017 and 2018.
There were 7 stages spread along the route with artists from various states such
as Pernambuco, Bahia, Rio, Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Amazonas, demonstrating
the great diversity of this artistic project.
